Well-being is defined as satisfaction with life and with oneself. As this is not just based on skills, there are many aspects involved in achieving the much-valued happiness.

Our life can be summed up, in a simplified way, in three main pillars:

Personal: everything to do with yourself, involving all the physical, emotional, and mental characteristics that make you unique. It can be subdivided into:
Mental health - there is no official definition, but the term refers to the way a person harmonizes their ideas and emotions and maintains a balance between external pressure and the internal limit;
Body care - more than beauty or vanity, it also includes personal hygiene and pleasurable attitudes, such as massages and even applying a cream;
Physical health - involves not only physical exercise but also adequate sleep and the right diet.
Interpersonal: everything to do with others and your relationship with the surrounding environment, involving attitudes and behaviors displayed in each situation. It can be subdivided into
Friends - these are relationships with deep connections that are chosen during life, mainly out of affinity, which makes them very beneficial;
Family - is the first and one of the most important contacts during life, it is in the family environment that we learn the most basic behaviors and values
Love relationships - this is a different challenge from other interpersonal relationships, it's when one or more people decide to commit themselves not only to their own wishes, but also to those of the other person.
Professional: this is everything to do with what the market needs and what companies are looking for in their employees. It can be subdivided into:
Hard skills - these are the technical and practical skills that people learn throughout their lives and which make it easier for them to perform certain functions better;
Soft skills - are skills related to individual behavior in the face of life's challenges and in relationships with people and the surrounding environment;
Experience - is made up of all the experiences related to work environments, even if they are simulated or unofficial.
Good management of all these aspects is what guarantees a high level of satisfaction and well-being. It sounds difficult when you put it like that, but by dedicating yourself and working hard in each area, you can achieve happiness and well-being. Shall we do it together?
To start developing yourself, the first suggestion is to fill in your wheel of life. With this tool, it's easy to see which area needs more attention, so you can set goals and focus your efforts on improving it. In the template, I've left 12 blank fields, the colored parts of the wheel, for you to fill in with whatever makes sense in your life. Some suggestions are:
Spirituality
Health
Leisure
Intellectual development
Emotional balance
Happiness
Fulfillment
Career & Work
Finance
Social contribution
Family
Friendship
Love & affection
Social life
Willingness
Hobbies & Fun
Once you've chosen the divisions, give each one a score from 0 to 10, considering only your judgment, not external standards or pressures. Mark each area at the level you have chosen, here it is usually done in two ways, but there is no right or wrong. They are: make a little dot in the center of the corresponding line, then connect all the dots and color the space inside at the end or color each level up to the grade of that area. Coloring here is very important for visualization, so try to do it even in stripes. You can also choose to use different colors to separate the various fields of life.
For now, just evaluate how your life is going from the perspective of the wheel. Is it in balance? Is it off somewhere? What do you need to focus on developing?
We'll have more tips on this in future posts! ;)
